Acer Iconia X Series Specifications and Features

Kicking things off with the Iconia X series, Acer has introduced the Iconia X12 and Iconia X14. Both are Android tablets with focus on better displays and AI capabilities. So, let's start with that.

The Iconia X12 is equipped with a 12.6-inch WQXGA 60 Hz AMOLED panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and up to 400 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Iconia X14 features a big 14-inch Full HD+ 60 Hz OLED panel with a ZeroFrame design.

Both tablets are meant to provide an immersive viewing experience. However, the X14 takes it a notch up with a built-in kickstand. While the X12 misses out on the stand, it does compensate with a range of accessories support like a keyboard case, a built-in stand cover and an Active Stylus.

Apart from this, both the X12 and the X14 feature a quad stereo speaker setup for superior audio output. It even features a built-in microphone array to help users take calls, capture audio and attend meetings.

Performance-wise, the Iconia X12 draws its power from the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, while the X14 features the Allwinner A733 chipset with a built-in NPU. The SoCs are paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM (LPDDR5 on X14) and 256 GB UFS storage (UFS 3.1 in X14).

On the software-side, both devices ship with Android 15 out of the box. Thanks to the dedicated NPU on the X14, it also gains several AI features like AI Smart Sensing, AI Super Resolution and more.
