Acer today has announced a bunch of new Android tablets at the annual Internationale Funkausstellung (IFA) event in Berlin. The Acer Iconia A14, A16, X12 and X14 expand the "Iconia" lineup with specs like OLED displays, quad stereo speakers, built-in stand and more. Here is a rundown of the device's specifications, pricing and availability.
Acer Iconia X Series Specifications and Features
Kicking things off with the Iconia X series, Acer has introduced the Iconia X12 and Iconia X14. Both are Android tablets with focus on better displays and AI capabilities. So, let's start with that.
The Iconia X12 is equipped with a 12.6-inch WQXGA 60 Hz AMOLED panel with a 16:10 aspect ratio and up to 400 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Iconia X14 features a big 14-inch Full HD+ 60 Hz OLED panel with a ZeroFrame design.

Both tablets are meant to provide an immersive viewing experience. However, the X14 takes it a notch up with a built-in kickstand. While the X12 misses out on the stand, it does compensate with a range of accessories support like a keyboard case, a built-in stand cover and an Active Stylus.
Apart from this, both the X12 and the X14 feature a quad stereo speaker setup for superior audio output. It even features a built-in microphone array to help users take calls, capture audio and attend meetings.

Performance-wise, the Iconia X12 draws its power from the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, while the X14 features the Allwinner A733 chipset with a built-in NPU. The SoCs are paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM (LPDDR5 on X14) and 256 GB UFS storage (UFS 3.1 in X14).
On the software-side, both devices ship with Android 15 out of the box. Thanks to the dedicated NPU on the X14, it also gains several AI features like AI Smart Sensing, AI Super Resolution and more.

Now, talking about the battery life, both tablets feature an 8,000mAh battery with support for USB-C 2.0 PD charging and up to 16 hours of battery life.
Apart from this, the Iconia X series brings Wi-Fi support (Wi-Fi 5 on X12 and Wi-Fi 6 on X14), Bluetooth (5.2 in X12 and 5.4 in X14) and more.

Acer Iconia A Series Specifications and Features
Now, coming to the Iconia A series, it brings the Iconia A14 and the Iconia A16. Both tablets share a lot of similarities in terms of specifications, with minor differences.
For starters, both the tablets feature a Full HD+ IPS LCD display with 60 Hz refresh rate and a ZeroFrame design. However, the difference lies in the display size. The A14 gets a 14-inch panel, while the A16 offers a large 16-inch display.

Both these tablets are powered by the Allwinner A733 processor with a dedicated NPU unit. They can be paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The A14 and A16 both feature Android 15 out of the box. Since both the A series tabs feature an in-built NPU, they can perform several AI-based tasks like Smile Camera, AI Smart Sensing and more.

Camera-wise, both devices feature a 5 MP selfie camera and an 8 MP rear camera.
The battery capacity on both the tablets are also same at 8,000mAh. Acer claims up to 10 hours of battery life for the Iconia A series.
