The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is a superhuman in a market full of capable flagships – packing top-of-the-line specifications, incredible performance, and a long-lasting battery. The design turns heads too, and the point-and-shoot-like camera largely lives up to that promise. Its only kryptonite is the aggressive AI processing, which gets in the way of what could have been a more authentic photography experience. At over Rs 1.5 lakhs, the Find X9 Ultra caters to serious camera enthusiasts or those who refuse to settle for anything less than the best.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra's camera hardware is so good that it will make you forget about professional DSLR and Mirrorless shooters. The night shots from this phone are simply out of this world, and the multi-focal length captures detailed 200MP shots at varying distances. Not to forget, it also packs a gorgeous display, strong performance, and a dependable battery. However, the software has adware, and there is a need for a little more polish in the UI. Overall, it is an excellent "camera" phone to get, if that is where your priority lies.

The Xiaomi 17 is a great compact Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered flagship that can punch above its compact form like a boss. It gets pretty much everything right with its reliable set of cameras, impeccable battery life and fast charging as cherry on top. However, that inflated price tag this year is certainly not enticing and causes the phone to lose a lot of its appeal.

The Motorola Signature is arguably the best flagship phone of 2026 out yet, which undercuts most recently released phones with an excellent spec sheet. It features a durable and sharp design, while offering powerful performance, excellent display and speaker pairing, a battery that can last a day, and good cameras. However, despite 7 years of promised updates, its software needs more polish. At Rs 59,999, it is a bargain for the spec nerds, if you can live with its software.

The Nothing Phone (4a) Pro is a stylish phone that comes in an all-metal jacket. It features an attractive and responsive screen, loud stereo speakers, an almost-clean software, solid cameras and an all-day long battery. Performance is the only thing holding it back from taking out the competition. But it's, without a doubt, one of the most impressive midrange phones I've seen so far in 2026. If you want style, substance and slick software, then the Nothing Phone (4a) Pro should be your obvious choice.

The Realme 16 Pro+ impresses with excellent battery life, a bright, immersive quad-curved AMOLED display and a comfortable design well-suited for everyday use. It is also reliable in terms of performance and overall camera output. However, it lacks proper heat management, faces occasional UI hiccups and cameras need refinement and consistency, especially in low-light shots.

The Motorola Edge 60 Pro is a well-rounded phone which looks and feels premium, delivers excellent everyday performance, has a large, bright display, the cameras perform reliably across the board, and the battery easily lasts a full day. The software experience on Hello UI is decent, but the flavour of Android 16 is missing. It's a near perfect phone under Rs 30,000 that offers almost a flagship level experience.
