Ai+ has gone ahead and gotten itself quite the following since its inception last year. The brand started its smartphone journey with the Ai+ Pulse 4G and Ai+ Nova 5G back in July 2025 and has already been working ahead of schedule to refresh its first two phones. The Ai+ Pulse 2 has already launched in India and now, it's time for the Ai+ Nova 2 5G to debut with a rather cool RGB surprise at the back.

Ai+ Nova 2 5G back panel design teased

CEO of Ai+ Smartphone, Madhav Sheth, took to his official X handle to share a teaser of the Ai+Nova 2 5G, teasing the back panel design of the phone. We see the phone with a vertical pill-shaped camera module housing dual lenses alongside an LED flash. Right under, the phone is seen flaunting two circular LED strips at the centre. vertical pill-shaped camera module housing dual lenses alongside an LED flash.

Additionally, this LED strip at the back of the Ai+ Nova 2 5G will most likely be RGB as the brand has showcased it glowing in the red, green, blue and yellow shades. As with Nothing phones and others that provide this quirk, we can expect the lights to be indicators for incoming calls and notifications.

However, the brand has also teased another functionality in the brief teaser video. We see the lights responding to beats, hinting at a possible rhythmic lighting effect, as seen on the newly launched Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max as well.

Ai+ phones so far have offered excellent value for money and if the Nova 2 5G implements the RGB lights well, it will prove to be a solid, affordable 5G smartphone in a market that's currently suffering from severe inflation.

Nothing else is known about the Ai+ Nova 5G successor. However, expect the brand to reveal more details over the coming days, so stay tuned.
