TCL-owned Alcatel recently entered the Indian smartphone market by launching three new phones. Now, from the looks of it, the brand wants a piece of the tablet market in India too, as three new tablets have now surfaced on the official BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification website.
Leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore took to his official X (formerly Twitter) handle to report the finding. The tablets have appeared bearing SKU numbers 9645G, 9465X, and 9491G. Just like the smartphones Alcatel launched in India not too long ago, Sudhanshu suggests these tablets to be rebranded TCL tablets.

The 9645G appears to be the TCL TAB 11 FE which features a Helio G80 alongside a 11-inch, 60 Hz, 1900 x 1200 pixels LCD. The rear and front cameras are 8 MP and 5 MP and it is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery that can charge at 10W. The tablet runs on Android 14 and comes with dual speakers and a microSD card.

Meanwhile, the 9465X might be the TCL TAB 11 Gen 2. It comes with the same processor and display as the TAB 11 FE, but this time, there is an 8,000 mAh battery and 18W charging.

Lastly, the 9491G is the TCL NXTPAPER 14 which is a slightly premium offering with a 14.3-inch 60 Hz, 2400 x 1600 pixels screen with TCL's paper-like display to transition between e-ink and normal displays. Besides, it features a slightly more powerful Helio G99 alongside a 10,000 mAh battery with 33W charging, dual-rear cameras, an 8 MP front camera, and Quad Speakers. It is also IP54-rated for protection against dust and water. There is no change in the designs of these tablets except the Alcatel logos at the back.

While the first two tablets appear to be aimed at the affordable segment, the 9491G, aka the TCL NXTPAPER 14 should compete with the upcoming OnePlus Pad Lite, which is expected to launch next month.
The pricing and release date of these Alcatel tablets remains unknown. However, we expect the 9645G and 9465X to arrive for under Rs 15,000 and the 9451G to arrive for under Rs 25,000 in the subcontinent. Moreover, with the tablets now having appeared on BIS, the India launch seems to be right around the corner.
