iOS 26.4 Developer Beta 3 Features

One of the major additions with the first, second and third developer betas of iOS 26.4 is the introduction of encrypted RCS messages. It now allows iPhone users to enjoy end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for messages shared between Apple Messages and Google Messages.

Another area where iOS 26.4 Developer Beta 3 has worked on is accessibility. The Accessibility settings page now comes with a new “Reduce Highlighting Effects” toggle in the Display & Text Size menu. It is aimed at helping photosensitive people reduce the effects around the edges of buttons and sliders.

Also, the Games app now features a redesigned Liquid Glass bottom tab that integrates the Search tab alongside the Home, Arcade, Friends, and Library tabs. Users can conveniently click on the search option to find installed games on iPhones. It moves the search bar to the top when accessed.

Aside from that, there is a new AI-powered Playlist Playground feature in Apple Music, video podcast support on Apple Podcasts, full-screen album art display and default enabling of Stolen Device Protection.
