CMF by Nothing is preparing to launch a new budget audio product dubbed the CMF Buds Neo. The brand has yet again teased their upcoming TWS earbuds, revealing their case design alongside the official launch date.
CMF Buds Neo Launching in India This Week
According to a fresh teaser shared by CMF by Nothing on X, the upcoming CMF Buds Neo are officially confirmed to launch on August 20, 2026. The teaser also consists of a short video revealing what looks like the case design of the earbuds, which includes a CMF Buds 2a-like external dial.

The video cycles through different colours of the case and dials, including a white case with an orange dial, navy blue with a cyan dial, and a black colourway with a black dial. We don't know if the dial will be used for volume control or as a lanyard.
While the new teaser primarily focuses on the outer case, a previous post from the company offers a peek at the earbuds themselves. The earpieces sport a matching white finish, capped off with bright orange silicone ear tips to go with the dial's colours.

Looking at the overall shape, the CMF Buds Neo's design is reminiscent of the CMF Buds 2 Plus. However, one notable physical difference is that the stems on the Buds Neo are distinctly more pointed at the edges. The Buds Neo could be codenamed Blastoise internally, one of the Pokémon Nothing teased back in June 2026.
With the August 20, 2026 launch just days away, the CMF Buds Neo could serve as an entry point into CMF by Nothing's audio lineup. Given their name, they could arrive as the most affordable TWS earbuds in CMF's already extensive lineup, further lowering the barrier of entry into the brand's ecosystem.
Details about the internals, features, battery capacities, and pricing are still officially under wraps. But we should get more information about the earbuds in the coming days, so stay tuned.
