CMF by Nothing has officially launched the Buds Neo in India as the brand's most accessible earbuds yet. The CMF Buds Neo offer an impressive set of specifications all while priced under Rs 2,000, making them a solid option to consider at the moment.
CMF Buds Neo Specifications and Features
Design-wise, the Buds Neo brings CMF's signature modularesque design language to a new form factor. The charging case combines a distinctive square shape with a tactile circular dial, creating a contrasting dual-tone look.

The dial and case use contrasting colours for a playful, distinctive finish and the tactile surface makes the dial genuinely satisfying to interact with. There's also a built-in lanyard hole for attaching a strap and carrying the earbuds around.
At the heart of the CMF Buds Neo is a 12.4mm dynamic driver, designed to deliver deeper, fuller bass with the power to move more air. A titanium-coated PET dome helps keep vocals and details clear, while a flexible PEEK + PU surround gives the driver more room to move. The earbuds also support Static Spatial Audio, creating a broader sound field for movies and concert recordings in particular.

For those who like to shape their sound, the Buds Neo comes with six professionally tuned EQ presets, spanning Pop, Rock, Electronic, Classical and Enhance Vocals. In addition, there's an option to create a custom sound profile through the Nothing X app.
There's also a dedicated Bass Enhancement toggle, letting users choose between Off, Level 1 (50%), or Level 2 (100%) for extra low-end weight without muddying the rest of the mix.
Noise cancellation is another highlight here, with the Buds Neo offering up to 35 dB of Active Noise Cancellation across three selectable levels. There's also an Adaptive ANC mode that automatically adjusts based on the surrounding environment. For calls, the earbuds use four HD microphones (two per earbud), combined with Clear Voice Technology to keep voices clear outdoors or while on the move.

Battery life is a strong point too. With ANC turned off, the CMF Buds Neo delivers up to 52 hours of total playback, with each earbud offering up to 11 hours on a single charge. With ANC switched on, total playback comes down to up to 30 hours.
Fast charging is supported as well, with the earbuds promising up to 5.5 hours of playback with just 10 minutes of charging. As per the brand, a full charge takes around 70 minutes over USB-C. The earbuds themselves house 45mAh batteries each, while the charging case carries a 460mAh battery.
