Indian tech wearable brand Goboult has launched a new over-ear headphone in India, with an official collaboration from Mustang. The headphones bring some noteworthy specs inside a Boss 302-inspired chassis. Here is a quick rundown of the latest headphones from the house of Goboult.
Goboult and Mustang join hands for a special edition headphone
The new Mustang Thunder is inspired by the Mustang Boss 302 livery with the Boss 302 badging on the silver headband and the silver Mustang logo on the left earcup. The right cup contains the iconic Mustang Pony with a breathing light effect, thanks to the LEDs embedded inside.
Aside from the livery inspiration, Goboult has also taken particular cues from the Boss 302 car's engine sound. Every time the Mustang Thunder is powered on, it plays the roar of the V8 engine inside the iconic Boss 302.

Now, talking about the headphone's specifications, it brings 40mm dual dynamic drivers to the mix inside memory foam earcups. The headphones are fitted with a quad-mic setup and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for distraction free calls in noisy environments. The ENC also kick in during listening to music.
Goboult says that with their in-house BoomX and Supreme Bass technology, the Mustang Thunder headphones can deliver a bass-rich audio experience. The Mustang Thunder are also good for gaming thanks to the 60ms low-latency mode. As for the audio codecs, the headphones only support AAC and SBC codecs.

Aside from that, the Mustang Thunder offers a dedicated EQ mode with Rock, Pop, Vocal and Bass options. It also features physical buttons to toggle the volume and call AI assistants like Siri and Gemini. It also features an official IPX5 rating and Bluetooth 5.4.
As for the price, the Goboult Mustang Thunder has launched for Rs 2,499 as a special launch price. It has an official MRP of Rs 7,999 and will enter regular sales for Rs 2,999 after a few days. The headphone is already available to purchase from Flipkart, Amazon and the official Goboult website in the Silver Black colourway.
