Headphone Zone has launched a product of its collaboration with Pula Audio and is calling it the Headphone Zone X Pula Unicrom. It's a co-branded in-ear monitor that's meant to lure in beginner audiophiles looking to move beyond entry-level gear to something a little more premium.

Headphone Zone X Pula Unicrom come with 3.5mm and 4.4mm plugs

Starting with the key specifications of the Unicrom, it features a single 10mm Beryllium-coated dynamic driver on either side. The brand claims the material was chosen for its high stiffness and low mass, which can deliver precise transients and low distortion.

The drivers are packed in lightweight resin shells that weigh just 6.6 grams per side for prolonged listening comfort. Design-wise, they arrive with a maple wood faceplate, finished in a Headphone Zone Blue colourway with natural wood grain. The brand notes that the natural wood grain ensures every unit features a unique pattern.

The IEM ships with a silver-plated copper 2-pin detachable cable with both a 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced plugs in the box. This could allow users to switch terminations easily. Besides, the IEM also ships with a green leatherette carry case and six pairs of silicone eartips.

As for the sound signature, Headphone Zone markets the Unicrom with a V-shape sound signature. This means they deliver a punchy base, with slightly recessed mids and lively highs. While most V-shaped IEMs tend to induce fatigue over long periods of listening, the brand claims it's non-fatiguing with a balanced sound signature.

The Headphone Zone X Pula Unicrom are now available on the official Headphone Zone website for Rs 6,999.
