HMD introduced the Pulse Pro smartphone back in April 2024. Now, the brand is seemingly working on its successor, the Pulse 2 Pro and a new leak reveals almost all the details of the upcoming HMD phone, leaving very little to imagination.
HMD Pulse 2 Pro is getting a design refresh along with spec bumps
X user smashx_60 shared a post detailing the key details of the HMD Pulse 2 Pro and has attached an image of the alleged smartphone from the side. Right off the bat, the extended camera plateau of the phone is clearly evident, giving off vibes similar to that of the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max.

However, just like the HMD Pulse Pro, the next iteration will still offer a dual rear camera setup. The leak has revealed it to house a 50 MP primary camera with OIS and a 2 MP secondary lens. It could be a depth sensor, since the 2024 model arrived with the exact configuration.
As for upgrades, HMD is apparently equipping the Pulse 2 Pro's display with a bigger 6.7-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD panel and 120 Hz refresh rate. For context, the Pulse Pro featured a 6.56-inch 90 Hz LCD panel.

Performance-wise, the tipster claims the budget Unisoc T615 chipset for the Pulse 2 Pro. It is a minor bump when compared to the Unisoc T606 SoC in the previous-gen model. However, RAM and storage on the next-gen model are getting upgraded with LPDDR4x and UFS (UFS 2.1 for 128 GB and UFS 2.2 for 256 GB) treatment.
Apart from this, expect the smartphone to ship with Android 15 out of the box, feature a 5,000mAh battery with 20W charging support, IP54 rating, stereo speakers, a new customisable button, NFC and more.

That said, the Pulse series is all about repairability. So, we expect the Pulse 2 Pro to carry forward the same user experience mantra. Also, the brand is bold with its colour choices and the Pulse Pro 2 is no exception. It is said to come in the Glacier Green, Midnight Black and Twilight Purple options.
