Honor is preparing to shrink the footprint of its next flagship while also upgrading its internals. Latest leaks point to Honor Magic 9 series being close to launch, and it could consist of three smartphones. The information reveals the screen size, potential camera specifications and battery sizes of the smartphones.
Honor Magic 9 Series Specifications Tipped
Following previous information that the Honor Magic 9 series could consist of three smartphones, new information from Digital Chat Station reveals the screen size and battery details of the standard Magic 9. According to the same, it could be a compact offering.

The Magic 9 could feature a smaller 6.3-inch flat OLED LTPO display compared to Honor Magic 8's 6.59-inch screen. Honor could pack a 200 MP main camera alongside a 50 MP ultrawide and a 64 MP periscope lens. Powering the internals could be a massive 8,000mAh battery, which could be astonishing for such a small device.
Elaborating on the camera specifications, DCS claims the 200 MP main snapper could be a large 1/1.28" sensor, while the 64 MP periscope could be a 1/2" sensor. The apertures and focal lengths have not been detailed, though. Besides, rumours also suggest the phone will get an ultrasonic under-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the Magic 9 will reportedly be powered by Qualcomm's next-generation 2nm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro processor, which is slated to launch in September 2026. The phone could also feature wireless charging.
Considering Honor launched the Magic 8 series in China in October 2025, there's still a long way to go for Magic 9 series. It is expected to consist of Magic 9, Magic 9 Pro and Magic 9 RSR. More details about these phones should be revealed as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned!
