Honor has launched a new affordable smartphone in China. The Honor Play 60A is the latest member to the "Play" portfolio of smartphones and bring some noteworthy features like 5G connectivity and a big battery. Here is a quick rundown of its specifications, pricing and availability details.
Honor Play 60A Specifications and Features
Kicking things off with the display, the Honor Play 60A gets a big 6.75-inch HD+ TFT LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and 16.7 million colours support. The panel also supports eye care protection and is Blue Light certified.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There is also support for virtual RAM expansion of up to 8 GB and SD card memory expansion of up to 1 TB.
On the software side, the smartphone ships with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. Honor has not mentioned how many years of software and security support the phone will get.

Camera-wise, the smartphone houses a dual camera setup with a 13 MP main camera and an undisclosed secondary lens. At the front, there is a 5 MP selfie shooter.
In terms of battery, the smartphone brings a respectable 5,300mAh capacity to the table. However, charging is slow at 15W.
Other than that, the smartphone brings a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a bottom-firing speaker, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, satellite positioning and a USB-C 2.0 port.

As for the pricing, the Honor Play 60A is available in a single 6 GB + 128 GB model and it costs 1,599 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 21,000). Interested folks can visit the Honor China e-store and avail the smartphone in Lake Blue, Azure Sky and Inky Black Rock colourways.
