Honor has unveiled the Play 70 Plus smartphone in China. It's a mid-range smartphone that aims to offer decent specifications at an affordable price. Here's a brief look at all of its specifications.
Honor Play 70 Plus Specifications and Features
The Honor Play 70 Plus features a 6.77-inch HD+ LCD panel with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Design-wise, it looks a lot like the Vivo V50, which launched not too long ago with the extended vertical camera island consisting of a camera and an LED flash inside a circular glossy ring.
The device is powered by Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC. It's an octa-core chipset based on 6nm process with 2 x Cortex-A78 cores and 6 x Cortex-A55 cores. The 6s Gen 3 is also used in the likes of Redmi 15 which launched in Poland recently.

Fueling them is a 7,000mAh battery capable of charging at 45W. Camera-wise, the phone boasts a 50 MP snapper with all the AI smarts expected from a smartphone in 2025, like object eraser, a best take equivalent feature and more.
Besides, the phone features dual-stereo speakers, NFC and comes with Honor's home-grown Magic OS 9.0 out of the box. It's based on Android 15 and, like Honor's other mid-range offerings, should receive two years of Android updates.
Honor claims the phone features a five-star drop resistance rating with reinforced corners, alongside boasting an IP65 rating for protection against dust and water. There's also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for unlocking the device, alongside a dedicated AI button like on the OnePlus 13s to assign quick actions.
