Honor has launched the Play 80 Pro as its newest budget 5G smartphone powered by a Snapdragon 6 series chipset. The Honor Play 80 Pro also offers a monstrous battery, big display, a reliable main camera and solid durability.
Honor Play 80 Pro Specifications and Features

The Honor Play 80 Pro features a 6.8-inch HD+ (720 x 1610 pixels) display with a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. This panel can offer up to 850 nits of peak brightness. It measures 166.89 x 76.8 x 8.24mm in thickness and weighs about 207 grams.
This weight and thickness are mostly due to the massive 7,000mAh battery inside. The phone is also IP65-rated and brings quite a bit of durability to the table.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset, paired with 256 GB of storage and up to 12 GB of RAM. Out of the box, the phone runs on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.
For photos and videos, the budget Honor phone uses a 50 MP primary rear camera and a 5 MP selfie shooter.
The Honor Play 80 Pro starts at 1,899 Chinese yuan (approximately Rs 25,500) for the base 6 GB + 128 GB variant. It also comes in the 8 GB + 256 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB storage variants.
As for availability, the phone is currently limited to China. The phone can be purchased in the Sky Blue, Moon Shadow and Dark Night colour options via the Honor China website.
