After multiple teasers and updates, the Honor Power 2 is finally official. The smartphone has debuted in China with a jaw-dropping 10,080mAh battery capacity. It builds on the Honor Power DNA and takes it up a notch on almost every front. Here is a quick rundown of its specifications, pricing and availability details.
Honor Power 2 Specifications and Features
As it is more than evident, the biggest highlight of the Honor Power 2 is its battery capacity. At 10,080mAh, this is the third smartphone in the world to cross the 10,000mAh mark after the Honor Win series, which debuted in China recently. This also makes this one of the best battery backup phones out there. There is also 80W fast USB-C charging on offer. However, the phone misses out on wireless charging.

There is no doubt that the key USP of the Honor Power 2 is its battery. However, it also brings a fresh new design to the table. A complete departure from the Honor Power's design, the new phone brings an iPhone 17 Pro-inspired chassis. From the edge-to-edge camera deco to the rear camera placement and even the Sunrise Orange colour option, the smartphone is heavily "inspired".
At the front, the smartphone is fitted with a 6.79-inch 1.5K 120 Hz LTPS OLED display and is said to reach a whopping 8,000 nits of peak brightness. The panel is 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut rated and boasts 3840 Hz PWM Dimming frequency.

Under the hood, the Honor Power 2 is fuelled by a new MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Elite processor. It is an octa-core SoC with four cores clocked at 2.20 GHz, three cores clocked at 3.20 GHz and one core clocked at 3.40 GHz.
The chip is paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.1 storage. Software-wise, the smartphone ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16 out of the box. Honor is promising three years of software upgrades and four years of security updates for the phone.

Moving on, in terms of cameras, the phone is fitted with a dual rear camera setup. It offers a 50 MP main camera and a 5 MP ultra-wide angle lens. There is also a 16 MP selfie camera at the front. The setup is capable of recording 4K videos from the back and 1080p videos from the front.
Lastly, the Honor Power 2 is IP66 + IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rated for dust and water resistance. It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, an Infrared port, GPS, dual SIM 5G and a USB-C 2.0 port.
