Besides smartphones, Honor's fitness tracker and smartwatch game has been going strong as well. The brand has launched the Honor Watch X5 in China alongside the new Honor 500 series. The smartwatch arrives with a premium design and extensive health features, while boasting a competitive price tag.

Honor Watch X5 boasts a 14-day battery life

The Honor Watch X5 features a 1.97-inch 290 x 450 resolution 60Hz AMOLED screen with an 82% screen-to-body ratio and 1.8 mm bezels. The display sports features like Raise to Wake and Always-on. The body of the watch is crafted from a thin aluminium alloy.

The watch measures 9.9 mm at its thinnest point and weighs 29 grams. There's a single crown on the side, and it supports multiple functions such as long press, short press and rotation to cycle through UI features. The Watch X5 is also IP68-rated.

The liquid silicone strap, with its quick-release mechanism, is easily swappable. Although Honor doesn't mention the exact battery capacity of the Watch X5, the brand claims it's rated to last for up to 14 days on a single charge.

On the fitness front, the watch supports around 120 sports modes. It comes equipped with a barometer, compass and has GPS to accurately track running sessions while recording the route. There are a few AI features too, like the AI-powered fat reduction for personalised weight management, real-time voice feedback, post-workout stretching support and more.

Health monitoring is pretty comprehensive too, with all-day tracking, detailed sleep analysis, one-touch health check and women's health tracking. Besides Bluetooth calling, the watch also supports NFC with support for storing transit cards in China, a remote camera shutter, DND, Pomodoro and more.

The Honor Watch X5 is priced at 449 Chinese Yuan (approximately Rs 5,500) and is available to purchase on the Honor China store, in two colours – Moonlight White and Phantom Black. It's currently only available in China, and we're not sure if it will ever make it to the subcontinent.
