When it comes to good value for money mid-range phones, Honor's "X" series has managed to gain quite the fanbase in Mainland China. However, it seems like the brand is looking to enter the premium mid-range category this year with an all-new Honor X80 Pro Max, featuring a mammoth battery capacity.
Honor X80 Pro Max Key Specifications Tipped
A new Weibo post from Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed that the all-new Honor X80 Pro Max will feature a massive 11,000mAh battery and will support 90W fast USB-C charging. If true, this will make the upcoming "Pro Max" model the only mainstream smartphone to feature such a huge capacity. As of now, the largest battery phone is the Honor Power 2 and it comes with a 10,080mAh cell.

Moreover, DCS' post has also revealed several of the other key details of the phone and they hint at a premium mid-range positioning for the smartphone. For instance, it is said to bring a 6.8-inch large 1.5K OLED display with 1280 x 2788 pixels resolution, rounded corners and thin bezels, probably achieved by incorporating LIPO (Low-Injection Pressure Overmolding) technology.
It is said to be powered by the recently announced Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 processor with Kryo CPU cores that can reach up to 2.6 GHz. As for the rest, the phone is also said to bring full-body water resistance, probably IP69 rating, drop resistance and a flagship-level design.
That said, since this is the first time we are hearing about the Honor X80 Pro Max, take this leak with a pinch of salt. Moreover, Honor is also prepping the Honor X80 and Honor X80 Pro for launch. All three phones could arrive in China by Q3 2026. So, stay tuned.
