Honor has officially launched the X9d in Malaysia with a massive 8,300mAh battery and rugged durability. The device is being marketed as a long-lasting and reliable device for users who need a phone that can handle both intensive use and harsh conditions. Here's a rundown of its complete specifications, as well as pricing and availability details in Malaysia.
Honor X9d flaunts triple IP ratings and a rugged build
As mentioned earlier, the latest mid-range device from Honor focuses heavily on durability. It flaunts the IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings as well as six cushioning layers and a 2.5-meter certified drop resistance.

Then comes that humongous 8,300mAh battery with 66W fast charging and reverse wired charging support. Honor claims that this combination is designed to deliver extended endurance without compromising on recharge times, making it the ideal combo for power users.
At the front, the Honor X9d 5G features a 6.79-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. On the software front, it runs on Android 15-based MagicOS 9.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.
For photography, the Honor X9d sports a 108 MP primary rear camera with OIS. At the front, there's a 16 MP shooter for selfies and video calls. It also supports 4K video recording and is backed by AI image editing features like AI Eraser, AI Eyes Open, AI Remove Reflection, AI Cutout and AI Upscale.

The device comes in the Reddish Brown, Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black and Forest Green colour options and starts from 1,499 Malaysian Ringgit (approximately Rs 31,500). The device is already up for pre-orders on the Honor Malaysia store, bringing freebies and extended warranty benefits until October 9, 2025.
Honor has not yet confirmed the India launch of the X9d. However, since the Honor X9b and X9c made it to India, there's a high chance for the X9d to as well.
