Apple’s WWDC 2025 event starts today, on June 9, 2025, and will take place until June 13. The Tim Cook-led keynote event will kick off at 10:30 PM IST today. The “Keynote” will address the latest versions of Apple’s operating systems including iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS 26, watchOS 26, visionOS 26 and tvOS 26. This will be the year, the company moves away from traditional version numbers, opting for a year-based naming scheme instead.
Besides this, the OSes will also feature revamped designs on all fronts, taking cues from Apple’s visionOS for a unified translucent and simpler look. The company is also expected to expand its Apple Intelligence to other devices and services, like the Apple Watch and Health app.
Apple may also introduce a dedicated Games app as the gaming equivalent to the App Store. It’ll act as a central hub to install games, monitor progress and check leaderboards with friends, similar to the Xbox. On the hardware front, a new device announcement seems unlikely although an update to the Mac Pro could be on the cards.
