Summary

  • Huawei has launched the Band 10 in India, and it comes in seven colour variants.
  • It features the same specs as its predecessor but offers a new Emotional Wellbeing Assistant.
  • It is available to buy starting at Rs 6,499 for the polymer case, exclusively via Amazon in India.

Huawei has been taking its smartwatch launches in India seriously. Just last year, we got the Huawei Band 8, and earlier this year, the Band 9 was released in the country as well. Now, the Huawei Band 10 has gone official in India, and it could be your biggest support in times of need.

Huawei Band 10 Specifications

For the most part, the Huawei Band 10 is basically the same fitness band as its predecessor. There are no changes to the dimensions, and the pill-sized tracker still measures 43.45 × 24.86 × 8.99 mm. There's also that solitary side button for navigation. The only change is that it is one gram heavier than its older sibling at 15 grams.

This time around, the Huawei Band 10 comes in seven different colours. These include the Green, Blue, Purple, Pink, White, Matte Black, and Black variants. Now, while the Pink and regular Black variants will come in polymer casing, the other options will feature aluminium. For reference, the Band 9 was limited to polymer and came in the White, Black, Pink, Yellow, and Blue options.

There is the same 1.47-inch AMOLED display, and the resolution is unchanged at 194 × 368 pixels. The 228 PPI pixel density remains the same as well. In addition, it retains always-on display support, along with the swipe and touch gestures of its predecessor.

It also features a 9-axis IMU sensor setup, including an accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer. You also have the standard blood-oxygen level monitoring, heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking functions onboard.

Additionally, there are those breathing exercises too to manage stress. The biggest difference here is the addition of a new Emotional Wellbeing Assistant, which ties in to a dedicated app on the watch.

According to Huawei, "The Emotional wellbeing app keeps you plugged in to your mental wellness, with timely tips that help harness the power of positive thinking, and perceptive pet-themed watch faces that show you your mood in the moment."

Additionally, from the looks of it, using the Huawei Health App, users can see their emotions laid out for them on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. I don't know about you, but I would like an emotional support watch too.

Moreover, similar to its predecessor, the Huawei Band 10 sports 100 preset workout modes to choose from. From yoga and running to swimming and cycling, it brings all prominent sports modes.

Huawei's latest Band 10 also supports 5ATM water resistance, making it a good choice for swimmers. "The device can be used for shallow water activities, such as those in swimming pools or along the coast," notes Huawei. Moreover, this time, the company also guarantees a 95% accuracy in stroke data and lap counts, thanks to an "AI-enhanced stroke identification technology."

Talking about battery, the brand claims up to 14 days backup on a single charge. Besides, according to the brand, it will take around 45 minutes to fully charge.

Huawei Band 10 Price in India and Sale Date

The Huawei Band 10 is priced at Rs 6,499 for the polymer case variants. Whereas, the aluminium alloy variants start at Rs 6,999. However, thanks to a launch offer, the prices come down to Rs 3,699 and Rs 4,199, respectively. Do note that this offer only lasts until June 10, 2025.

As for availability, the Huawei Band 10 is already available to buy exclusively on Amazon India. So, are you still interested in buying bands? Or, are you more inclined towards smartwatches?
