After a prolonged absence from the Indian consumer electronics space, Huawei could finally be making a comeback. A newly surfaced teaser suggests the brand is prepping to launch a new tablet, making its first major non-wearable device launch in the country since 2020.
Huawei's "Handy All-Rounder" is coming soon to India
Huawei has a new banner on Flipkart, which leads to a microsite that further teases the device. While it keeps the exact model name a secret, it displays a tagline Handy All-Rounder with a silhouette of what looks like a tablet with a detachable magnetic keyboard and stylus setup.

The design cues alongside the tagline have led enthusiasts to believe this could be the Huawei MatePad 11.5 (2025). If this holds, the tablet could boast the same specifications as its international counterpart. For those unaware, it's an affordable 11.5-inch tablet meant for productivity and content consumption.
The MatePad features a 12-core Kirin T82B chipset with a 2.5K 120Hz LCD panel and up to 600 nits of peak brightness. There's a 13 MP rear camera alongside an 8 MP front snapper. Powering the internals could be a 10,100mAh battery with 40W wired, and storage options include 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB.

Besides releasing a few smartwatches and fitness bands, Huawei had effectively paused its broader mobile operations in India. However, this release signals that the brand could be prepping yet another push in the country, starting with tablets and gradually moving to laptops, accessories and potentially smartphones in the future.
While we don't have enough information about the tablet and its launch date, the page does state that it's Coming Soon. The official launch date and model details will probably arrive in the coming days, so stay tuned.
