Huawei is all set to expand its smartphone lineup with the Enjoy 90 Plus and Enjoy 90 Pro Max. The brand has revealed the Huawei Enjoy 90 series launch date in China, as well as the design of the two phones. Historically, the Enjoy series has consisted of mid-range smartphones and the Enjoy 90 series will most likely stick to the same roots.
Huawei Enjoy 90 Plus and Enjoy 90 Pro Max launch date in China set for March 23
Huawei officially took to Weibo to confirm that the Enjoy 90 Pro Max and Enjoy 90 Plus will officially debut in China on March 23, 2026, at 2:30 PM CST (or 12:00 PM IST), during the company's Spring product launch event. Additionally, the official teasers reveal the designs of both smartphones.

For starters, the higher-end Enjoy 90 Pro Max goes for a flagship aesthetic with a large circular rear camera module. It's very similar to the recently-launched Mate 80 series, and Oppo and Vivo's camera-centric smartphones.
The images posted by the brand suggest a vibrant display (likely OLED) with extremely slim bezels, centered hole-punch camera and a top speaker unit with a microphone.
In contrast, the Enjoy 90 Plus can be seen with a square camera module at the back. The display has noticeably thick bezels, but we can also see the Action button, which Huawei calls the X button.

Both smartphones are expected to run on Huawei's latest HarmonyOS 4.3 and could be powered by Kirin 8-series processors. While the brand hasn't revealed the exact details, we expect the phones to feature Kirin 8000 or 8020 chipsets. However, the main USP of these smartphones appear to be their battery capacities.
The Huawei 90 Plus could feature a 6,620mAh battery, whereas the Pro Max could bump it up to a whopping 8,500mAh. The Enjoy 90 Plus can be seen in a blue colourway, whereas the 90 Pro Max boasts a light teal colourway. With less than a week to go before launch, more information about these smartphones should surface soon, so stay tuned.
