2025 is the year of slim phones. Following Samsung and Apple, other brands are now rushing to launch their sleek phones in the market. The latest entrant to the list is Huawei, which is allegedly going to launch its iPhone Air competitor this month itself.
Huawei Mate 70 Air tipped to launch in October 2025
Tipster Panda is very bald has revealed via Weibo that the Huawei Mate 70 Air will launch in China on October 29, 2025. It will become the first slim phone from the brand and is expected to be under 7mm in thickness. The alleged thickness is "6.9xmm" where x denotes an unreleased value.

Additionally, in a separate post tipster Fixed focus digital claims that the Mate 70 Air will bring a Full HD+ 6.9-inch AMOLED display, HarmonyOS 5.0 update, a triple rear camera setup and up to 512 GB of storage.
Other than that, the Mate 70 Air will be e-SIM only, feature 66W fast USB-C charging support and three colourways – Black, Gold and Silver.

Moreover, the smartphone suffered a listing mishap a few days back where it was listed on a Chinese telecom platform. It revealed the smartphone with a circular back camera deco and a Huawei Mate 70 like back panel.
That said, no other detail about the upcoming phone is currently out at the time of writing. Given that the smartphone is expected to go official next week itself, expect to hear more details arrive soon along with an official confirmation.
