The Huawei Mate 90 series is officially live in China with four phones: the Mate 90, Mate 90 Pro, Mate 90 Pro Max and a flashy Mate 90 RS Ultimate Design. All four are powered by new Kirin chipsets and run HarmonyOS 7.
Huawei Mate 90 Series Specifications: What's Similar?
Across the lineup, Huawei has kept a shared foundation. Every phone gets a flat 1.5K LTPO OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1,440 Hz PWM dimming, covered with Huawei's Kunlun Glass.
The cameras share a lot of DNA too. There's a 40 MP RYYB ultrawide, a 3rd-gen Red Maple multispectral lens, a 13 MP front camera with a 3D ToF sensor and the XMAGE imaging system. All four have a variable-aperture RYYB main camera with OIS and LOFIC (F/1.4 to F/4.0), a 4x RYYB periscope telephoto and up to 100x digital zoom.

Charging and connectivity are consistent as well. Every model offers 50W wireless charging and runs HarmonyOS 7 out of the box.
They're all rated IP69/68 for dust and water resistance and include an IR blaster, USB 3.1 Gen 1, and DisplayPort 1.2. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7+, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC and eSIM.
