Huawei debuted the world's first triple-folding smartphone, the Mate XT Ultimate Design, back in 2024. Now, the brand has followed that up with its second-generation triple-folding smartphone, the Huawei Mate XTs Ultimate Design. Flaunting a massive 10.2-inch 3K display on the inside, a 5,600mAh battery and more, here's all you need to know about it.
Huawei Mate XTs Ultimate Design Specifications and Features
Since it is a tri-fold, the key attraction here is the massive 10.2-inch 3K 90 Hz foldable LTPO OLED display in the 16:10 aspect ratio and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness. It also features support for stylus.
The device features a dual hinge mechanism where the single large screen folds twice in a "zigzag" manner to mimic a triple folding smartphone. Folding it once reveals a 7.9-inch size screen and it further shrinks to a 6.4-inch display which is the same as that of a slab phone.

Under the hood, the device brings a Huawei-made custom Kirin 9020 chipset with HarmonyOS 5.1 on top. Huawei claims that the new pair will be able to deliver up to 36% performance over the previous software and chipset combination.
Notably, the Mate XTs Ultimate Design is also equipped with a 5,600mAh silicon carbon battery. There is support for 66W fast USB-C charging and 50W wireless charging.

Coming to the cameras, the back features a hexagonal camera bump with a Star Diamond design. It includes a 50 MP main camera, a 40 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 12 MP 5.5x periscope telephoto camera. The tri-fold features a single 8 MP selfie camera.
Apart from this, the device comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, Lingxi satellite communication, NFC and USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 port.
