Huawei has pulled the wraps off its premium MatePad 12 X (2025) tablet in the global markets. With a large 12-inch Papermatte display, a thin and lightweight build, as well as HarmonyOS at its core, the tablet seems to be targeted at those looking for a versatile all-in-one tablet. Here's a rundown of its complete specifications, pricing and availability details.
Huawei MatePad 12 X is aimed at productive workforces

Starting with the display, the MatePad 12 X comes with a 12" 2.8K 144 Hz LCD panel, which Huawei claims is an ultra-clear PaperMatte display with anti-glare technology. The firm also claims the coating is capable of eliminating 99% of light interference, which could make it ideal for outdoor usage.

Measuring 5.9 mm in thickness, the MatePad 12 X weighs 555 grams. While Huawei didn't highlight the processor that powers the tablet, it's believed to be a Kirin T90A, which is an octa-core processor.

The firm says that the tablet is equipped with an advanced 3D heat dissipation architecture that can efficiently transfer heat to the screen and the tablet's all-metal body, leading to a 27% bump in performance.
Powering the tablet is a 10,100mAh battery with 66W fast charging support, with a 6-speaker setup for audio. There's 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage on offer, alongside a 50 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front camera.

Connectivity-wise, there's Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.2 and USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C with support for display output. Huawei also announced a few accessories to go with the tablet, including its M-Pencil Pro and Smart Magnetic Keyboard. On the UI front, it's powered by Huawei's own Harmony OS 4.3.
The MatePad 12 X 2025 comes in three colours – Greenery, Sakura Pink and White and costs 599 pounds (approximately Rs 67,000). It will be available in Europe and the UK.
