Huawei has finally launched the Nova 15 Pro and the Nova 15 Ultra in China. Both phones are packed to the brim with a new Kirin processor, a big battery and noteworthy camera upgrades. Here is a quick look at what's new with new phones in China.
Huawei Nova 15 Pro and Nova 15 Ultra Specifications and Features
Kicking things off with the design, the Nova 15 Pro and the Nova 15 Ultra bring a completely new look to the "Nova" lineup. Both phones bring a redesigned camera layout with an edge-to-edge camera plateau. They house a circular camera deco with triple rear cameras.
There is also a separate circle which accommodates the LED flash and the "XD Portrait" branding. At first glance, the Nova 15 Pro and Ultra seem to bring a mix between the iPhone 17 Pro and the Redmi K90 Pro Max. Even the back glass comes with a new strip panel texture.

At the front, the same 6.84-inch 1.5K 120 Hz LTPO 10-bit AMOLED display adorns both the smartphones. They are protected by second-generation Huawei Kunlun Glass.
Under the hood, Huawei has opted for the new Kirin 9010S processor for the Nove 15 Pro and Ultra. In terms of RAM and storage, there is 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage on offer with both smartphones.
Software-wise, they ship with HarmonyOS 6.0 out of the box. It brings some nifty features and AI tools like lockscreen emojis, AI Emotion Detection, AI Teleportation, AI One Flick and more.

Now, coming to the cameras, there is the same 50 MP RYYB main camera sensor inside both phones. However, they differ when it comes to the telephoto and ultra-wide cameras. The Pro model houses a 12 MP telephoto lens and a 13 MP ultra-wide angle camera.
Meanwhile, the Nova 15 Ultra gets a 50 MP ultra-wide camera as well as a 50 MP 3.7X telephoto lens with 100X digital zoom support. Speaking of the front cameras, there is a dual 50 MP selfie setup on both smartphones.

Coming to the battery capacity, there is a 6,500mAh cell inside both smartphones. They bring 100W fast USB-C charging and 50W wireless charging.
Aside from that, the Nova 15 Pro and Ultra also bring an official IP68 + IP69 rating, an optical fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, NFC, dual 5G SIM support and more.
