Just a day ago, the Huawei Mate 80 series and the Mate X7 went official in China. Now, it looks like the brand is already prepared to introduce the new Nova 15 series soon. A fresh report has hinted at the prospective launch timeline of the new smartphones and their key details.
Huawei Nova 15 launch date set for 2026
Tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) has revealed that the upcoming Nova 15 series smartphones will go official in China by early 2026. The post mentions that Huawei is prepping to launch the lineup "before the Spring Festival" in China.

For context, the Spring Festival in China ushers in the beginning of the Chinese New Year and going by that, we can expect the launch before February 15, 2025.
As for the smartphones, aside from the standard Nova 15 and the Nova 15 Pro, for the first time, the Nova lineup is said to gain an Ultra model. This means that there are three new phones in the pipeline for the Nova 15 series – Nova 15, Nova 15 Pro and Nova 15 Ultra.

Moreover, DCS has managed to spill some of the Nova 15 series specs, giving us a good idea as to what the smartphones will pack. Starting with the Nova 15 and the Nova 15 Pro, both phones are said to gain a 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display. However, they will differ in size, with the 15 getting a 6.7-inch screen and the Pro variant gaining a bigger 6.84-inch display.
Under the hood, DCS claims that Huawei might use new Kirin 8 series chips for both phones. At the time of writing, it is unclear which SoCs will exactly power both phones. Camera-wise, the 15 and the 15 Pro are expected to gain a 50 MP main camera. However, the Pro might use a 50 MP periscope sensor as well. On the front, the Nova 15 is expected to bring a single 50 MP selfie camera, while the Pro will allegedly pack a dual selfie camera setup. There could also be a 6,000mAh battery inside both phones.

Lastly, the brand new Nova 15 Ultra will obviously feature stronger and top-of-the-line peripherals compared to the other two models. It is expected to make use of a new Kirin 9 series chip, possibly the Kirin 9030 Pro. It is also said to bring a 1/1.3-inch 50 MP main camera and the same 6,000mAh battery capacity as that of the other two smartphones.
That said, since these are speculative at the time of writing, take them with a pinch of salt. We will make sure to report on concrete details once they start surfacing online. So, keep a close watch on Beebom Gadgets.
