Huawei has now silently launched a new Nova Y74 smartphone in China as a budget offline-centric device. It is the newest member of Huawei's "Nova Y" portfolio and brings some noteworthy features to the table, including an impressively large battery and solid durability.

The all-new Huawei Nova Y74 features a large 6.67-inch TFT LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution and 850 nits of peak brightness. It also brings rain and water touch sensitivity and several eye care protections including a Dim Mode and Reading Mode.
For performance, while Huawei has not revealed the processor used inside the smartphone, it does say the Nova Y74 brings 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of storage. It also gets virtual RAM expansion of up to 8 GB. On the software side, the smartphone ships with EMUI 12.

In terms of battery, the Huawei Nova Y74 brings a large 6,620mAh capacity with support for 30W USB-C charging. Camera-wise, the phone gets a single 50 MP rear camera and an 8 MP selfie camera.
Rest, the phone brings a customisable X Button to launch apps or shortcuts, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, single speaker, NFC, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1 and USB-C 2.0 port.
As for the pricing, Huawei has not revealed it yet. However, the brand has confirmed the phone will be available in offline markets from next week in Blue and Black colourways.
