Huawei is expanding its wearable portfolio in India with the launch of the Huawei Watch D2. It is a premium, health-focused smartwatch that Huawei says is equipped with Blood Pressure Monitoring and ECG.
Huawei Watch D2 offers advanced health tracking with ABPM
Right off the bat, the standout feature of the Watch D2 is its ability to measure blood pressure using a 26mm built-in mechanical airbag integrated into the strap. It boasts the ability to provide single-lead ECG data to help users spot irregular heart rhythms, just like the Huawei Watch GT 6 series that launched recently.

This feature is complemented by other health sensors such as SpO2, Skin Temperature, Heart Rate, Sleep and Stress levels. Huawei also says that the device received medical device certifications in Europe and China.
Specifications-wise, the device features a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with 408 x 408 pixels resolution and 1,500 nits of peak brightness. The watch is made of aluminium alloy, and the entire package is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance. Design-wise, it resembles an Apple Watch, featuring a rotating crown and a square dial.

Some of the other standard smartwatch features include Bluetooth calling, the ability to answer or reject calls straight from the wrist, and allowing users to view notifications regardless of whether they have an Android or iPhone.
The Smartwatch D2 works with Huawei's Health app and supports over 80 workout modes. Besides, the watch is rated to last for 7 days on a single charge.
Huawei Watch D2 demands a premium price
The Huawei Watch D2 is available in two colours – Black and Gold, and is now available to purchase on Amazon and Flipkart for an introductory price of Rs 33,499 until October 5, 2025. Its price post offer will climb to Rs 34,499.
The price puts it in the same category as some of the best smartwatches in the world, like the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic and the Pixel Watch 4 launched earlier this year. It will be interesting to see if the firm garners any attention with the D2's reliance on delivering accurate health metrics.
