The concept of smartphone brands collaborating with design-focused ventures is not new. From Samsung to Realme, every major smartphone maker at some point has launched a special edition phone which offered a mix of style and substance, wrapped into one beautiful package. The latest entrant to the list is Infinix with its Pininfarina partnership.
Infinix ropes in Pininfarina for Note 60 Ultra
Infinix has revealed via an X post and official press release that it is entering into a long-term strategic partnership with the iconic Italian design house, Pininfarina. Both brands will work closely together to design the upcoming Infinix Note 60 Ultra smartphone for 2026.
For those unaware, Automobili Pininfarina was founded by Sergio Pininfarina back in 1930, and it has been responsible for some of the most iconic car designs in the history of automobiles. From the legendary Ferrari Testarossa to the supremely popular Alfa Romeo Spider, Pininfarina has been designing uber-premium and luxury cars for the past 95 years.
So, there is no doubt that the collaboration between Infinix and Pininfarina will result in something extraordinary. Also, this is not the first time Infinix has designed a smartphone with an automobile brand. The Infinix Note 30 VIP Racing Edition was designed by BMW’s DesignWorks studio. Hence, this is not a new arena for the brand.
As for the product itself, the Note 60 Ultra will become the first child born out of this partnership. Infinix's CEO, Tony Zhao has revealed that both brands will continue their collaboration beyond the Note 60 Ultra. So, future Infinix products will also bear Pininfarina's touch in some way or the other.

That said, at the time of writing, no other detail about the Infinix Note 60 Ultra has been shared. It will launch in 2026 and as for the date, that is also not known now.
