Last week, Infinix teased the launch of a new budget smartphone in India and today we get to know it is the Infinix Smart 20 4G. The brand has also revealed its exact launch date along with some of the phone's key specs, including display, battery and performance.
Infinix Smart 20 4G Launch Date in India Announced
A dedicated Infinix Smart 20 4G microsite is now live on Flipkart, confirming the phone will launch in India on June 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. At launch, the smartphone will be available in Sunlike Orange, Cloudline Blue, Shadow Black and Polaris Titanium colourways.
Infinix has also given us our first look at the smartphone and it resembles the Infinix Note 60 Pro with the large edge-to-edge camera deco and dual camera placement. However, it doesn't come with any secondary display.
Speaking of specs, the phone is confirmed to feature a large 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with 120 Hz refresh rate, HD+ resolution and 700 nits peak brightness. It is going to be slim at 7.7mm and weigh only 198 grams.
For performance, the Infinix Smart 20 4G will bring the Helio G81 Ultimate chipset and will be paired with 4 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of storage. It will also gain the option of virtual RAM expansion of up to 4 GB and microSD card storage expansion of up to 2 TB.
The smartphone will run on XOS 16 based on Android 16 and will feature a dedicated AI button along with some exclusive Infinix phones features like Ultra Link No SIM calling and Smart AI Voice Reduction.
It is also confirmed to be equipped with a 5,200mAh battery with 15W USB-C charging support and 5W reverse wired charging. As for the rest, the phone is confirmed to bring an IP64 rating, an 8 MP rear camera and dual SIM 4G connectivity.
In terms of pricing, Infinix could position the Smart 20 4G for under Rs 15,000. However, there is word on that yet. Thankfully since the launch is a couple of days away, we will know for sure. So, stay tuned.
