Itel has officially launched its A100 smartphone in India, bringing what it calls a premium-inspired design and solid everyday features to the ultra-budget segment. Priced under Rs 8,000, the Itel A100 takes design cues from the flagship OnePlus 15, while delivering core essentials like a large display, big battery and durability that caters to first-time smartphone buyers and casual users.
Itel A100 Specifications and Features
At first glance, the Itel A100 impresses with its flat-edge frame, squared design and refined camera module, giving it a look identical to the OnePlus 15. The design is actually quite similar to the Itel A100C which launched in India last year. The smartphone features a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS display with a 90 Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the Itel A100 runs on a Unisoc T7100 processor, paired with up to 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Photography is handled by an 8 MP primary rear camera and a 5 MP selfie shooter.
Other noteworthy touches include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Battery life gets a boost from a 5,000mAh cell, which should comfortably last a full day of typical use. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and even an IR blaster. The phone runs on Android 15 Go edition right out of the box.
Itel A100 Price in India and Availability
The Itel A100 is priced at Rs 6,799 for the base 3 GB + 64 GB variant, while the 4 GB + 64 GB model costs Rs 7,499. As for availability, the phone can be purchased via retail outlets across the country in the Pure Black, Silk Green and Titanium Gold colour options. Itel is also offering a free 100-day screen replacement offer on the phone.
