Itel Zeno 5G Debuts in India with Dimensity 6300, In-House AI Assistant and More

Earlier this year, Itel launched its Zeno 10 in India. Now, the Itel Zeno 5G has gone official as an upgraded sibling. It packs the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery, and most importantly, proprietary AI features to make use of. Here's a quick rundown of all the details. 

Itel Zeno 5G Specifications and Features

The Itel Zeno 5G comes with the same 6.67-inch HD+ display. However, this time around, the panel brings 120Hz refresh rate to the table alongside a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. Additionally, there's also Panda MN228 glass protection on top. 

On the software front, the device runs on Android 14 right out of the box. Nothing is known about the software update policy at the time of writing. 

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC which pairs up with 4 GB of  LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Now, this is a decent jump from the Unisoc T603 that the Zeno 10 uses. Further, there is also VRAM expansion of up to 4 GB alongside a microSD card slot that is expandable up to 1 TB. 

For photography and videography, there is a 50 MP primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.6. It is accompanied by Dual AI cameras along with a rear flash. Meanwhile, at the front, there is an 8 MP shooter for selfies. 

The Itel Zeno 5G is also injected with some AI this time. You get to see Aivana, which is the brand's proprietary AI assistant. In addition, there is also an Ask AI feature, that will let users write, translate and summarize content. 

In terms of battery, you get to see a 5,000mAh unit fueling the device. This rated battery capacity pairs up with 10W charging support. For added durability, the phone also brings IP54 dust and water resistance rating to the table. 

For security, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Network and connectivity options seem adequate too, with dual nano SIM support and 10 5G bands. Apart from this, there is the usual Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS support. 

Itel Zeno 5G Sale Date and Price in India

Talking about the Itel Zeno 5G's price in India, it is set at Rs 10,299 for the single 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage configuration. It can be purchased in the Shadow Black, Wave Green and Calx Titanium colour options. 

Buyers can also avail of a Rs 1,000 discount using an Amazon coupon, bringing the price down to Rs 9,299. Itel also promises free screen replacement for the first 100 days after purchase.
