Reliance Jio has introduced a new Rs 15 data booster for prepaid subscribers, offering unlimited 5G data for 24 hours. The add-on pack is aimed at users who need extra high-speed connectivity without opting for a more expensive recharge.
Jio's new Rs 15 booster offers unlimited 5G data for 24 hours. Unlike regular data add-ons with fixed data limits, this pack provides unlimited 5G access throughout its validity. For reference, currently, there are two unlimited data packs from Jio:
- Rs 49: Unlimited 5G data for 1 day (25 GB high-speed data, post which 64 Kbps)
- Rs 11: Unlimited 5G data for 1 hour (10 GB high-speed data, post which 64 Kbps)
So, the new Rs 15 data pack will sit alongside these plans. However, we are not sure how much high-speed data the plan will be offering. In an ideal scenario, it will most likely be lower than that of the Rs 49 plan, somewhere between Rs 10 GB and Rs 15 GB.
The new Rs 15 data booster prepaid plan will be available starting November 5, 2026, so that's when we will get more clarity on this.
Subscribers can recharge for the plan through the MyJio app and Jio's official website. However, do note that it will require an active Jio prepaid base plan to add the data to.
Users must also have a 5G-compatible smartphone and be within Jio True 5G network coverage to access unlimited data. You can check out our list of the best 5G phones in case you are looking to upgrade.
This booster could be useful for subscribers who need additional connectivity for streaming, downloading large files or travelling.
