Reliance Jio turned 10 years old last month and the telecom operator has been celebrating with a few special offers. Earlier, it launched a Rs 3,599 anniversary Jio annual plan packed with extra data and Google Gemini Pro access. Now Jio is targeting feature phone users with a new JioBharat 4G anniversary offer that makes it as affordable as Rs 299.
Jio's 10th Anniversary Offer Gives JioBharat 4G Phone for Rs 299
With this offer, users can buy a JioBharat 4G phone for Rs 1,499. Along with the phone, Jio is giving six months of free recharge. Here's a breakdown of what the free plan includes:
| Benefit | Details |
|---|---|
| Data | 14 GB per month (0.5 GB per day) |
| Calls | Unlimited HD voice calls |
| SMS | 300 per month |
| Validity | 6 cycles of 28 days each |
| Apps | JioTV, JioSaavn, JioHotstar, JioPay UPI, and Jio Safety Shield |
These benefits are the same as Jio's popular Rs 123 JioBharat plan. So, in simple terms, users get a brand-new JioBharat 4G phone plus six months of that plan for Rs 1,499. The offer is open to new Jio users, existing Jio customers and people porting their number from another network.
According to Jio, a 2G feature phone user pays about Rs 199 per month for recharges. Over six months, that adds up to about Rs 1,200. Since this offer gives users six months of free recharge, Jio subtracts that Rs 1,200 from the Rs 1,499 price. That leaves an effective phone cost of Rs 299.

That said, it's important to understand that users will still need to pay Rs 1,499 upfront. The Rs 299 figure only makes sense if you already spend Rs 199 a month on a 2G plan. Compared to Jio's own Rs 123 plan, six months would cost about Rs 738. In that case, the effective phone price works out to around Rs 761, which is still a great deal for a 4G phone with six months of service.

How To Get The JioBharat 4G Phone Offer?
The 10 year JioBharat anniversary offer applies to these four models:
- JioBharat A1
- JioBharat B1
- JioBharat B2
- JioBharat B3
These are basic 4G keypad phones. For example, the JioBharat B2 has a 2.4-inch display, a 2,000mAh battery, a 3.5mm headphone jack and normally costs Rs 1,399 on its own. All JioBharat phones support UPI payments through JioPay and come with JioTV and JioSaavn built in.
All the above-mentioned phones can be bought from Jio stores, retail outlets and online e-commerce stores like Flipkart and Amazon.
The phone and the Jio SIM work as a pair, so the free recharge applies only to the eligible JioBharat phone. The offer is valid until October 20, 2026, so users have about three weeks to grab the deal.
