Indian smartphone maker Lava is gearing up to expand its mid-range lineup with the launch of two new devices this month. According to the brand, the new Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 and Blaze Dragon are aiming squarely at Gen Z consumers seeking style, performance and value.
Starting with the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2, it is positioning as a design-first device that is also said to offer a slim profile with a vivid AMOLED on top. The display is also said to offer a fast refresh rate. Lava also promises a clean stock Android experience, with the camera tuned for social media content.
According to the brand, the Blaze AMOLED 2 is built to deliver a smooth day-to-day performance without the usual trade-offs in the segment. While nothing else has been revealed about the device, leaks suggest a 6.67-inch 120 Hz display with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device is also expected to run on Android 15 out of the box.

Talking about the Lava Blaze Dragon next, it is said to be a performance-first device that's aimed at users who demand more out of their device. From multitasking and gaming to all-day reliability, that's what Lava is focusing on with this device. As per leaks, this phone could arrive with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, it too shall run on Android 15 out of the box.
"A responsive processor and high-speed storage keep things snappy, even under pressure. It’s designed to go the distance, no lags, no slowdowns, no overheating," Lava writes.
Lava also highlights the device's "dependable battery life" hinting at a 5,000mAh or more of battery life. Once again, the brand emphasises on a streamlined Android interface as one of its key strengths.
Pricing and full specifications of the Lava Blaze AMOLED 2 and Blaze Dragon are expected to be revealed closer to the official release. However, we do look forward to getting an official launch date from the brand soon.
