Smartphone brand Lava has expanded its audio portfolio in India with the launch of the Lava Probuds Xplore 25° TWS earbuds. While they are in-ear-style budget TWS earbuds, the primary USP is the built-in display on the charging case and the pop-out case design.
Lava Probuds Xplore 25° TWS Specifications and Features
One of the most unique features of the Lava Probuds Xplore 25° TWS is the 1.69-inch colour TFT touch display, which the brand says is a "smart interactive screen". Users can check information at a glance, like battery, time, and set custom images as a screen saver.
The case of the Lava Probuds Xplore 25° TWS is also unique since it comes with a pop-up fidget mechanism to access the earbuds. There is a volume up and down buttons on the side which users can conveniently use to control volume and music playback.
Beyond the unique design and built-in display, the Probuds Xplore 25° TWS earbuds themselves, come with the standard in-ear fir with a stem for haptic touch controls. Each earbud pack 10mm dynamic drivers and a quad microphone setup with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC).
In terms of connectivity, there is Bluetooth 5.3 and dual device pairing support. It is unclear if the TWS support wear detection and Google Fast Pair. The earbuds also feature 35ms Low Latency Mode for gaming.
As for the rest, the earbuds can deliver up to 50 hours of playback time (charging case included) and can quick charge, offering 4 hours of playback on 10 minutes charge. Lava Probuds Xplore 25° TWS is also IPX4 splash resistant, ideal for water splashes and sweat.
