When it comes to value-for-money budget Android phones in India, Lava is a familiar name. The brand has today launched the Lava Shark 2 silently in the country. However, it is not available on any of the e-commerce platforms. Here's everything new with the latest budget smartphone from Lava.
Lava Shark 2 will be offline-exclusive in India
Talking about the Shark 2's specs, it doesn't bring any standout features compared to the Lava Shark which launched in India in March 2025. There is a big enough 6.75-inch HD+ 1200 Hz notch-style LCD panel, which is good for multimedia.
It is backed by the Unisoc T7250 chipset, a popular choice for phones around this range. It can be paired with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Users additionally gain the option to virtually extend the RAM by up to 4 GB. The smartphone ships with Android 15 out of the box.

Aside from that, the smartphone features a 50 MP main camera for those casual shots and an 8 MP selfie unit. It also gets a capable 5,000mAh battery with 18W USB-C charging support.
Apart from that, the smartphone brings all the basic bells and whistles like an IP64 rating, a 3.5mm headphone jack, dial SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB-C port.
Lava Shark 2 is now up for purchase
Lava has priced the Shark 2 for Rs 7,500 in India for the single 4 GB + 64 GB variant. However, there's an instant bank discount of Rs 750, which brings the price down to roughly Rs 6,750. The device is exclusive to retail audience and can be purchased via Lava-authorised outlets in the Black and Silver colourways.
