After launching the Lava Virat V1 5G and Virat V1 4G in India last month, the Indian smartphone maker is now preparing to add another phone to the series. The brand has confirmed that it's launching the Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G in the country next week and has also given us a glimpse at its design.
Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G Launch Date in India Announced
The official Lava X account has confirmed via a tweet that it will launch the Lava Virat V1 5G in India on August 24, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST. Additionally, the brand has also confirmed that the phone will be available to purchase via Flipkart.
We also get a decent look at the phone's design, thanks to a brief teaser video shared by the brand. Upon first glance, the phone bears a striking resemblance to the Realme 16 Pro. We see a very similar squircle camera module, which houses what appears to be three lenses and an LED flash.

The phone is showcased in a black (or maybe dark blue?) colourway and a white option. However, the brand hasn't revealed anything in terms of the Lava Virat V1 Pro 5G specs.
Going by the "Pro" in the moniker, we can expect it to be a slightly beefed-up version of the Lava Virat V1 5G. Expect the brand to reveal more details in the coming days, so stay tuned for all the updates.
