Lenovo has launched its brand-new product, the Idea Tab Android tablet in India, to compete with the likes of HMD, Motorola and Xiaomi. It comes with noteworthy specs like a 2.5K display, the Snapdragon 695 chipset, Android 15 and more. Lenovo Idea Tab Specifications and Features
Starting with the display, Lenovo has equipped the Idea Tab with an 11-inch 90 Hz IPS LCD panel with 2.5K resolution. There is also TÜV eye care certification for a "strain-free" viewing experience and up to 500 nits of peak brightness.
The display has uniform black bezels throughout and is encased within an 6.9 mm thin chassis. The back panel has a single top-aligned rear 8 MP camera, with the "Lenovo" in the middle of the device. It weights at 480 grams.
Under the hood, the tab is equipped with the Snapdragon 695 processor with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of UFS storage. There is also support for microSD card expansion of up to 2TB.
On the inside, the tablet ships with Android 15-based ZUI 17 with a guaranteed upgrade to Android 17 and four years of security updates. Apart from this, it also features a 7,040mAh battery with 20W fast USB-C charging support.
In terms of connectivity, the device features Bluetooth 5.2, 5G connectivity and Wi-Fi support. Other than that, the tablet also offers a quad speaker setup, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a 5 MP selfie camera and an USB-C 2.0 port.
Lenovo Idea Tab Price in India and Sale Date
The Lenovo Idea Tab Android tablet is listed on the official Lenovo India website and Amazon. The Wi-Fi + Stylus variant costs Rs 16,999. Meanwhile, the 5G connectivity option model is listed for Rs 19,999.
Both the models are offered in the 8 GB + 256 GB configuration and can be availed, starting August 7, 2025, in the Luna Grey and Luna Blue colourways.
Additionally, Lenovo is selling an optional Lenovo Tab Pen, Lenovo Tab Pen Plus and a folio keyboard separately.
