In a world where tablets are either too underpowered to replace your laptop or too expensive to justify the upgrade, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 has launched in India to offer that sweet spot. The tablet packs in a high refresh-rate display, a massive battery, a powerful processor and also bundles in a stylus right in the box, all while keeping things economical.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 Specifications and Features

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 features a 13-inch 3.5K (3540 x 2190 pixels) PureSight Pro display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 319 PPI, making visuals super crisp. This panel can also deliver an HBM of 800 nits, ensuring that outdoor visibility is not a problem. The tablet is also equipped with quad JBL-tuned speakers to offer a very immersive viewing experience.

\To take multitasking and productivity to the next level, Lenovo is also bundling the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus stylus right in the box. This will allow users to "write, sketch and annotate from the very first use". The tablet also packs in a bunch of useful AI features such as AI Notes, Smart Reader, Live Transcript and AI Creation Tools to help users "capture, organise and create content more efficiently".

Powering it all is the very capable Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. On the software front, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 runs on Android 16 out of the box, with the brand's custom skin on top. The brand is promising two years of major OS updates and four years of security patches for the tablet.

Considering the size of the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 and the massive 10,200mAh battery inside, it only measures 6.2mm in thickness. However, it is understandably weighty at 598 grams, thanks to the hardware inside and a "premium metal body". Lenovo is also throwing in 45W fast charging support into the mix, making things a little convenient for users.

To get some casual photos and videos in, the Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 sports a 13 MP autofocus primary rear camera. Meanwhile, for video calls, there's an 8 MP fixed focus front camera.

Connectivity options are adequate too, with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 alongside all the essential sensors.

Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 Price in India and Sale Date

The Lenovo Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 price is set at Rs 39,999, with sales starting from May 1, 2026, via Amazon and partner retail stores across the country.

As part of a limited-time offer, interested buyers can also get an instant bank discount of Rs 3,000, making the tablet all the more enticing. The tablet will be available to purchase in Luna Grey, Cloud Grey and Jelly Mint colourways.
