Lenovo recently launched the Tab Plus Gen 2 globally, and now it's official in India. The latest multimedia-first Android tablet arrives as the successor to the two-year-old Lenovo Tab Plus with improvements across audio quality, display resolution, processor and more.

The biggest highlight with the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 is its 9-speaker array, which has been tuned by JBL and can offer a collective output of 48W. It features a dedicated JBL bass unit at the back, which adds to the immersive audio experience.
The speakers are Dolby Atmos-certified and come with 360° Spatial Audio support. The tablet even features a dedicated Bluetooth speaker mode, allowing users to connect their smartphone and stream audio effortlessly. It comes with three dedicated sound modes to get the most out of the speaker unit – Dynamic, Movie and Music.
At the front, the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 gets an immersive 12.1-inch 2.5K LCD panel with a fast refresh rate and 800 nits of peak brightness. The display is also Dolby Vision and HDR10 certified, making it the ideal movie-watching screen. Paired with the JBL speaker system, it is a compact entertainment powerhouse.
Powering the tablet is the capable Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Lenovo is also offering the ability to expand the onboard storage via microSD card support of up to 2 TB. It ships with Android 16 out of the box with a Lenovo-made skin on top. The tablet will receive 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches.
Moving on, the tablet also comes with a big 10,200mAh battery with 45W fast USB-C charging support. It features a 13 MP main camera at the back and an 8 MP selfie sensor.
Connectivity-wise, the Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 gets Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, Lenovo Tab Pen Plus stylus and wireless keyboard support. It is also IP54 rated for dust and water resistance.

The Lenovo Tab Plus Gen 2 price in India starts from Rs 35,998 for the 8 GB + 128 GB Wi-Fi-only model. It also comes in an 8 GB + 256 GB Wi-Fi-only configuration, and that one costs Rs 38,999. Both variants are listed on the official Lenovo India website and are available to purchase in the Silver colour option.
