Motorola is set to expand its audio portfolio in India by launching the Moto Buds 2 in a few days' time. It will join the Moto Buds 2 Plus, which debuted a few weeks back and is expected to target the sub-Rs 3,000 price segment with adaptive ANC, Hi-Res audio support and long battery life.
Moto Buds 2 Launch in India Set for May 19
The official Motorola India X account has confirmed that the upcoming Moto Buds 2 TWS will debut in India on May 19, 2026, at 12:00 PM IST, via Flipkart. This is the same day the Moto g37 and g37 Power India launch is also set to take place.

Alongside the launch date, Motorola has also confirmed some of the specs of the Moto Buds 2 and they are in line with the Moto Buds 2 European model which launched back in March at MWC 2026. The earbuds are confirmed to bring a dual-driver setup with an 11mm dynamic driver and a 6mm magnetic planar.
It will also bring Hi-Res audio and LHDC support and is confirmed to feature a six-microphone setup (3 on each earbud) for environmental noise cancellation and superior call quality. Motorola also promises up to 53 hours of total battery backup for the Moto Buds 2 (10 hours of battery life excluding the charging case) and can deliver up to 3 hours of playback time on a 10-minute charge.
Aside from that, Moto Buds 2 will also bring Bluetooth 6.0 support, spatial audio, audio sharing, wear detection, an IP54 rating and a Moto AI wake-up trigger. It will be available in Pantone Violet Ice, Pantone Gray Mist and Pantone Carbon colourways and is expected to launch for under Rs 3,000.
