Motorola has launched the Moto g Stylus 2026 as a direct successor to last year's Stylus. However, the new Moto g Stylus 2026 doesn't just build on its predecessor but also introduces a far more capable active stylus. The phone also packs a 1.5K AMOLED display, a 50 MP Sony main camera and other impressive on-paper specifications.

Moto g Stylus 2026 Specifications and Features

The biggest upgrade on the Moto g Stylus 2026 is its new built-in active stylus, which now supports pressure sensitivity and tilt detection with compatible apps. This enables more precise note-taking, sketching and productivity tasks alongside features like drag-and-drop, handwriting input and more in comparison to the Moto g Stylus 2025

On the hardware front, the phone features a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. This panel can also offer a peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits, an HBM of about 1,400 nits and is backed by Water Touch technology.

Powering the phone is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and on the software front, it runs on Android 16 with Motorola's Hello UI skin on top.

Motorola has also focused on durability and design. The Moto g Stylus 2026 comes with a leather-inspired finish, along with IP68 and IP69 ratings and SGS-certified military-grade toughness.

For photos and videos, the latest Moto g Stylus houses a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS, accompanied by a 13 MP ultra-wide and a 32 MP front shooter. The camera system is enhanced by Moto AI features such as Action Shot, Super Zoom and a Photo Enhancement Engine for improved results.

Backing it all up is a big 5,200mAh battery, which Motorola claims can deliver nearly two days of use. The Moto g Stylus 2026 also supports 68W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

Moto g Stylus 2026 Price and Availability

Motorola has priced the Moto g Stylus 2026 at $499.99 (approximately Rs 41,000), making it about $100 more expensive than the predecessor.

The phone will go on sale starting April 16, 2026, via the official Motorola website, Amazon, Best Buy and more. It comes in the Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Lavender Mist colour options.

As for the Moto g Stylus 2026 India launch, while nothing is confirmed yet, we expect it to arrive as the Motorola Edge 70 Stylus in the country, since the previous generation arrived as the Motorola Edge 60 Stylus.

With an upgraded stylus experience and improved durability, the Moto g Stylus 2026 offers functionality over anything else. It places itself as a serious alternative for users who want solid stylus functionality without stepping into ultra-premium territory.
