While in the USA, it is being bundled in a pack of 4 and it costs $119.98 (approximately Rs 11,500), which roughly translates to $30 (approximately Rs (3,000) for each Moto Tag 2.

As for India, the first generation Moto Tag launched in the country for Rs 2,299. It is currently out of stock, meaning Motorola intends to replace it with the Moto Tag 2. At the time of writing, it is unclear when that will happen.

Moto Tag 2 Specifications and Features

A big reason why the Moto Tag 2 being in stock is such a big deal, is because it is the cheapest Android tracker to come equipped with Ultra-Wideband (UWB) precision tracking support. It can connect to all Android phones, including the newly launched Motorola Raz Fold, via the moto tag app and is also part of Google's Find Hub ecosystem.

The Tag 2 is also end-to-end encrypted on Google's trusted network and comes with Bluetooth 6.0 and Bluetooth Channel Sounding which helps in precise distance tracking even from a long range. It is also IP68 rated and Motorola claims up to 600 days worth of battery life. There is support for standard CR2032 battery making the battery easy to replace.

Aside from that, the Moto Tag 2 also comes with remote camera shutter support, single press Find My Phone integration, ringtone and volume adjustment and unknown tracker alerts. It comes in Pantone Arabesque and Pantone Laurel Oak colourways and support a variety of third party accessories, making it easy to clip onto bags and items.
