Summary

  • A leaked promo poster gives us the first look at the Motorola Edge 70, which appears in a green colourway.
  • The phone features a flat display on a slim body with a quad-camera setup accented in yellow.
  • There appears to be a new, customisable button on the left side of the frame.

Motorola is seemingly gearing up to shake up the market once again, as the Edge 70 has surfaced online. A new leak has given us our first look at the Motorola Edge 70, revealing a new design language for the device.

Reliable tipster Evan Blass took to X to share a promotional banner for the Motorola Edge 70. We see the upcoming device from Motorola in a seemingly Pantone-validated green finish with a quad-camera setup featuring yellow accented lenses on a textured back panel. We also see this yellow extend to a new button on the left side of the frame. Could it be an AI Plus Key-like customisable key?

The tagline "Impossibly Thin and Incredibly Tough" is nothing new and we will see yet another slim device that brings military-grade durability and double or even triple IP rating to the table. However, what's interesting here is the absence of a curved display. At least, from the looks of it, Motorola has decided to go with a flat panel for the Edge 70.

Sadly, nothing else can be said here and we can only wait for Motorola to officially confirm the details. However, it's good to see the brand make some changes to a design that could seem repetitive at this point.
