Summary

  • Motorola Razr 60 Swarovski Edition has now been teased to launch in India soon.
  • The Flipkart microsite for the flip phone has currently gone live, teasing the back design.
  • It features the same specs as the regular Razr 60, but flaunts hand-placed Swarovski crystals at the back.

Motorola is all set to bring its premium Razr 60 Swarovski Edition to India as well. The special edition for the flip phone's launch in the country has now been teased via Flipkart.

A dedicated Flipkart microsite has now gone live with the tagline "Where innovation meets dazzle". The back design of the special edition device has also been teased. Since the Motorola Razr 60 Swarovski Edition has already gone official globally, it was an easy guess.

The Motorola Razr 60 originally went official in the Pantone Gibraltar Sea, Pantone Spring Bud and Pantone Lightest Sky colour options. However, the Swarovski Edition sees the device embrace a Pantone Ice Melt colourway with a 3D quilted pattern on a leather-inspired back panel finish.

Now, in this back panel, there are "35 precisely hand-positioned Swarovski crystals, including a larger one with 26 facets on the hinge, delivering vibrant and sparkling brilliance." To match well with the premiumness of it all, the Swarovski Edition also comes with a crossbody case.

However, that's where the difference ends, as the Swarovski Edition's specifications are identical to the regular Razr 60. Here's a quick recap of the key specifications of the Razr 60 for reference:

  • 6.9-inch Full HD+ pOLED LTPO inner display with 3,000 nits peak brightness
  • 3.6-inch Full HD pOLED LTPS cover screen with 1,700 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus protection
  • 7.25mm unfolded thickness and 15.85mm folded thickness
  • 188 grams weight
  • MediaTek Dimensity 7400X
  • 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB UFS 2.2 storage
  • 50 MP primary rear camera with OIS, secondary 13 MP rear ultrawide
  • 32 MP selfie shooter
  • 4,500mAh battery with 30W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging

The Razr 60 Swarovski Edition costs $999 (roughly Rs 87,500), making it almost 75% more expensive than the regular Razr 60's Rs 49,999 price tag in India.

Globally, Motorola also launched its Moto Buds Loop's Swarovski Edition alongside. However, it's not yet confirmed if that will be the case for the Indian market as well. We will know for sure in the coming days, as the brand announces a concrete launch date and more details.
