Motorola is prepping its next-generation flip phones, the Razr 70 and 70 Ultra. The renders of these smartphones have already appeared in the wild, sporting a similar design to their predecessors. Now, new information spills the beans on the Motorola Razr Ultra specifications and it doesn't seem like a big upgrade.
Motorola Razr 70 Ultra Key Specifications Leaked
According to Android Headlines, Motorola is touted to fit a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery in the Razr 70 Ultra. That's a decent 6% increase from the Razr 60 Ultra, which boasted a 4,700mAh battery. The charging speeds, however, are expected to remain the same at 68W.

To balance the overall cost of the smartphone amid the rising RAM and storage prices, Motorola is reportedly sticking with the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It's the same processor used in the Razr 60 Ultra. However, to compensate, the brand is expected to bump the overall RAM and storage to 16 GB and 512 GB in the top-specced variant.
The smartphone's physical footprint remains unchanged, as per the latest report. The phone is said to weigh the same 199 grams and feature dimensions of 171.4 x 73.99 x 7.19mm. The cover screen and main display are seemingly also unchanged at 4 inches and 7 inches, respectively. The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra is also said to carry an IP48 rating for water and dust resistance.
Optics-wise, the clamsell foldable could retain its predecessor's 50 MP main camera flanked by a 50 MP ultrawide shooter. The front camera is expected to be a 50 MP snapper. Similarly, the leaked Motorola Razr 70 Ultra colours suggest the brand will continue its partnership with Pantone, offering it in Sporting Green, Hematite and Violet Ice.
Motorola has yet to announce the official Motorola Razr 70 series launch date. However, considering the Razr 60 series launched in April 2025, we can expect the Razr 70 series to debut by the end of April or May 2026. More details should surface in the coming days, so stay tuned.
