Nothing just went big on sound. The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro has launched with three drivers in each earcup and a battery that can keep going for days, all wrapped in a glass-and-titanium body. It's the company's most ambitious pair of over-ear headphones yet.

The star of the show is the audio hardware. Each earcup houses three dedicated drivers: a 40mm dynamic driver for bass, a precision dynamic driver for the mids, and an xMEMS solid-state tweeter for the highs.
The Nothing Headphone 1 Pro are Hi-Res certified in both wired and wireless modes. Over Bluetooth, LDAC handles up to 24-bit/96 kHz, while USB-C goes up to 24-bit/192 kHz lossless and there's a 3.5mm input if you'd rather go analogue.
Nothing worked with London's Metropolis Studios to tune the sound and it shows in the options. A physical switch jumps straight to a Flat EQ for a neutral profile. Meanwhile, spatial audio comes with optional head tracking across five modes: Standard, Studio B (modelled on the studio's flagship room), Club, Concert Hall and Live House.
If you like to tinker, the Nothing X app adds an 8-band Advanced EQ that lets you adjust the drivers independently, along with five genre presets inspired by British music styles. That's a lot of knobs, and one early hands-on described the options as almost overwhelming.
Noise cancellation gets a boost too with the Nothing Headphone 1 Pro. Ten microphones now handle ANC, and the redesigned earcups seal better, which Nothing says pushes noise reduction to 46 dB, up from 42 dB on the original Nothing Headphone (1). Calls get their own 4-mic setup with a DNN-based algorithm to keep wind and background chatter out of your voice.
Then there's the battery, which is quite the flex. The 1,060mAh cell is rated for up to 68 hours with ANC off and 30 hours with it on (AAC). Switch to LDAC and that becomes 53 hours and 28 hours. When you're running low, a 5-minute fast charge gives you 4 hours of playback with ANC off, or 2 hours with it on.
The design has been refreshed as well. The Nothing Headphone 1 Pro weighs 327g and combines titanium and aluminium, with scratch-resistant glass replacing some of the earlier plastic. Nothing has also given it a wider headband, thicker padding and softer, more flexible earcups.
It's IP52 rated and keeps the roller, paddle and button controls from its predecessor. On the connectivity side, you get Bluetooth 6.1, AAC, SBC and LDAC (LC3 is for broadcast audio only), plus Google Fast Pair, Microsoft Swift Pair, dual connection, in-ear detection and a low-latency mode. A hardshell carrying case comes in the box.

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro is priced at $399 in the US (approx. Rs 38,500), £349 in the UK and 349 euros in Europe. It comes in Black and White.
It goes on sale from today, September 29, 2026, through Nothing's website, Amazon and Best Buy. Nothing hasn't shared any India launch details yet.
